Cancellations
Refunds

Refunds: Tower Arts Studio is not responsible for providing make-up classes or issuing refunds for programs missed as a result of illness, emergencies or other events beyond our control. If you would like to cancel your enrollment in a class, Tower Arts Studio will provide you with a tuition refund, minus $100 registration fee up to two weeks prior to the start of class. There will be no refunds within two weeks of the start of the class. If your child is absent, we cannot prorate tuition or offer to make up classes during the summer program. If your child arrives late, leaves early or misses days, they could possibly miss out on finishing their project, or have trouble catching up with the rest of the class. Please send your child to all the classes they signed up for and minimize late arrivals and missed days.

NSF Checks: A $40 fee will be charged for any insufficient funds check. We regret to say that the $40 charge will accrue for each time we submit or resubmit the check. Repayment must be in the form of a cashier’s check, and include the original class fee amount plus the NSF fee(s).

Cancellations: Tower Arts Studio reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment. In the event of a class cancellation, you will be notified one week prior to the start of class. If Tower Arts Studio cancels a class that your child is enrolled in, you will have the option to switch classes within the program or receive a full refund. Please sign up early to ensure classes proceed as scheduled.

Arrival and Departure Times

Arrival/Departure Times: One of the things that makes this art camp unique is that it is on an island, and, in order get to this island, we have to take a ferry that runs on a fixed schedule. Our hope is that this part of the experience runs smoothly for everyone, and that we can work together to ensure all children get on the ferry in time for the 9:15 am sailing.

It is essential that you bring your child no earlier than requested and pick them up promptly at their designated pick-up time, in the waiting room at the Guemes Island Ferry Terminal in Anacortes. Because we are all working around a ferry schedule, it is important that kids are dropped off at the ferry waiting room at the specifically set time of 9:00 am. An adult chaperone will be there at 9:00 am and will accompany all children onto the ferry when the crew begins to load the boat. The ferry leaves promptly at 9:15 am. The crew will not hold the ferry for anyone, so it is crucial to arrive on time. We can not be responsible, if your child misses the 9:15 ferry. It will be up to the parent or guardian to bring them over to Tower Arts Studio on the next ferry.

Once on Guemes Island, the chaperone and children will walk two blocks to the art studio and begin their day.

Island Art Camp ends at 2:30 pm and an adult chaperone will accompany off-island children back over to Anacortes on the 2:30 pm ferry. The ferry arrives on the Anacortes side around 2:50 pm and we ask that all children be picked up no later then 3:00 pm at the Guemes ferry terminal waiting room. After 3:00 pm, a late pick-up fee of $15 will be charged for the first 15 minutes and $1.00 per minute there after. Late pick-up fees are due when late parent/guardian picks-up. Cash, check or Venmo is accepted.
