Six Sessions

This six week session will focus on hand-building functional and sculptural projects using plaster forms and slab techniques. Emphasis will be on making garden items such as unique totems and fence post toppers. Demonstrations will include making our own newsprint underglaze decals for surface decorations.

If you are interested in working on your own ideas but would like some technical and design guidance, we can accommodate your needs. Open to all levels.

Classes are held at Tower Arts Studio, 5424 South Shore Road, a short block and a half walk up from the Guemes ferry dock on Guemes Island.

Cost: $300.00 and includes up to 12lbs of clay, use of studio tools, glazes, firings and Open Studio*.

Tuesdays, 12:30pm-4:30pm
Open to students who are enrolled in weekly classes at Tower Art Studio. This gives students the opportunity to work independently in the studio, without instruction on their projects after class time.
